I am glad to be home. We do not have to go to McDonald's to get a connection. I will post some photos.

Oct. 7, 2013

I did not want to leave the land of sun, rocks and pine needles, but the humans put me in the stinky truck and drove off. I was quite surprised when, 4 hours later, we arrived where we had started. I still don't know how...or why..they made this trip. I think they are messing with my head. Later I will look for any photos that I should post. Now, I will go to sleep for many hours.

Oct. 3, 2013

We are in Bend. Yay! My cousin Jackson, the dog, is barking, so I don't want to go out. Maybe tomorrow. The big stinky truck is creating a blue smoke shield whenever we idle at intersections. I think people look at us in annoyance.
Snow when we leave Unity, Oregon headed for Bend

On the way to Unity, Oregon

Me in the hated pink harness. The other one didn't fit.

Male human on motorcycle

Oct. 2, 2013

It was very cold at night. The water hose was frozen. The heater went on many times. I stepped outside and the ground was so cold I came right back in. I will stay in the trailer with the humans who have all their warm clothes on. In the afternoon the male rides on his motorcycle. The female reads a book. At this time the male has not come back.

Oct. 1, 2013

Today we drive along the I-84 freeway through Boise, Vale and Unity. We go to the forest campgrounds where the humans check out the sites to see if the trailer willl fit. First one...not so great, second one may work, but then they notice a sign posted that says the campground is closed due to the government shutdown. Rats! It smelled of lovely pine needles and I really wanted to get out. The humans turn around and go to Unity Lake State Park. The male human will plan a route for a motorcycle ride. The female frets that there is no one to ride with him and they don't have cell service. There is a wild wind storm with rain. It is supposed to be 26 degrees tonight. I am glad I have fur.

Sept. 30, 2013

Campsite at Curlew Grasslands
From the grasslands we drive to Twin Falls, Idaho. The humans buy groceries. They are excited to see that the grocery store sells wine, unlike Utah. The wind blows the trailer around on the freeway. I can feel that the humans are anxious. I sing a few verses of YEOW to help them. They find refuge at a State Park outside Glenn's Ferry, Idaho. The wind still howls. I go outside but come back in because the wind is noisy. The humans look at maps and plan the next day trip. I will post some of the sand dune pictures when I get an internet connection.
Sand dunes at Little Sahara

Sept. 29, 2013

We drive over a very bumpy road for a long way. Of course, this makes me sick. I throw up. What else would they expect! Then I run back and forth between the front seat and the back chanting the 27 verses of YEOW to calm myself. A very long day on the road. The wind blew very hard. Evening finds us at Curlew National Grasslands park. There are no other trailers except the camp host. No noise. Thank the Great Fur Ball in the Sky! I will sleep well.

Sept. 28, 2013

We travel to a big sand dune park (Little Sahara). I am excited to roll in the sand but when we get there off-road vehicles are everywhere and it is very noisy. There are even dogs off-leash. Off-road, off-leash, I am off-ended. At least there is sunshine and it is not too cold. I don't even have pictures to post because the female is afraid she will get run over by the vehicles if she walks outside.
